I would expect something like:

^[.]/[.]sms_$LISTNAME^

Right, but in general, is this the way to go? Somehow it feels kludgy to do it this way and I 
can’t help feeling there is a clever thing I’m not considering.

I have no idea how the rest of your sms-path goes.

Is it based on a simple email-message to some service?
If so, then this should be fine.

But if this rc-include wrestles your mail-server to the ground
to get a single message out, then it is different.
