It's not SPF by the looks of things.  It uses public keys in the
DNS and signatures in the mails.

Unlike SPF it potentially allows you to use your local SMTP
server and solves the .forward problem by allowing the reciever
to use the original source to verify the mail, ignoring the
forwarder.

Also unlike SPF it either requires changes to the mail client
or to the SMTP server (in the latter case you have to use your
home, not local SMTP server) in order to add the signatures.
And potentially in order to ignore the signatures at the receiver.

It looks PGP like to me.

How big they think it's going to get, though, if they're unwilling to
publish the protocol/implementation procedures?
