There is a thread that has started up on the SPAM-L mailing list about
SPF. See the subject "MTA packagers please consider SPF". I would
give a pointer to the archive, but that is restricted to SPAM-L
subscribers only.
Anyway, one of the participants has done some checking and found that
the SPF wizard at http://spf.pobox.com/wizard.html seems to do a very
bad job of counting MX records. Generally it over counts them. For
example, it says that midwestcs.com has 2 MX records, when it only has
one.
Overall, it appears to be a fairly positive thread and worth checking
out if you are in to following such discussions.
