I'm suggesting that SPF be modified to compare the client IP address to
an address in a new SMTP service extension designed for that purpose,
*if* *present*, and otherwise against the envelope return address.
It is not necessary. There is a "place" for a forwarder to express
itself in a RFC2821 _and_ SPF compliant way:
MAIL FROM:<AT envelope-sender:envelope-return AT example>
Modern MTAs will send bounce directly back to 'envelope-return AT
example', while SPF can check that the SMTP client IP is authorized to
send mail by 'envelope-sender'.
Additionaly there are no need to encode secret tokens as in SRS because
'envelope-sender' does not need to accept relaying.
(And this syntax is more filter friendly.)
