| As far as i know Wietse Venema has only refused to support SPF in the main

I want to see SPF support bundled into mainstream MTAs and turned on by
default. Until that day arrives, we need to keep pushing.
"Turning on by default" is dangerous sometimes.
I will send Wietse the SPF plugin; the decision to bundle it or not will
rest with him.
He has already announced that it will be included in the soon coming 2.1
release.
I suspect that having an official RFC number on the plugin will help.
My whishlist for the Policyd :
- Merge with the greylisting script to avoid overhead
- As few dependencies as possible for additional perl modules
- Configurable behavior like disable HELO checks
Thanxs & Regards
