I apologise for this being off topic, and wish this did not have to be
my first post to this list, which I have been reading with great
interest for some time, however [snip], I do not appreciate the fact you
seem to think it's right to flag and therefore highlight your own mail
with such claims as "Outlook spreads viruses and spam alike!".

This subject has come up before with another user of this list, as
well as other lists.

I would like to say, once again, that I don't think it is appropriate
for people to go out of their way to trigger bugs in other people's
email software. That includes things like deliberately starting lines
with "begin ", adding headers that apparently cause certain MS
products to freak out, adding words knowning that they will cause
poorly designed anti-worm software to freak out, etc.

That said, it is clear that there is enough brain damage in Outlook
that using it doesn't seem to be a very good idea. Using it and then
complaining when you find that Outlook's brain-damage causes you
problems is pretty silly.
