On a related note regarding the sender-pays concept, I was recently
approached by www.vanquish.com. The concept is similar to Yahoo
DomainKeys --- ISP-level cryptographic signatures embedded invisibly
in the message --- but adds an interesting twist: along with the
signature you get a microbond.
I've been dealing with Eric Johannsen, who is working on yet another
sender-pays technique. The discussions are..... amusing. He's gotten
permission to try out one of the systems here, but I have my severe doubts
about its overall functionality.
You may also notice that the author of CRM114 has the same domain address as
me: he works downstairs. This place is just a hotbed of anti-spam work....
