I have proposed to the IETF AD and co-chairs that we publish
an Experimental RFC to document SPF Classic,
I support this.
and also
publish Experimental RFCs for Sender ID to make Microsoft
happy,
I'm not sure if I can do anything to stop this, but I strongly object
to advancing the PRA in the form last seen in MARID.
Either the license needs to change to be compatible with F/OSS MTAs
and spamfilters, or one or more other widely accepted scopes needed to
be added that cover the 2822.From: identity so that F/OSS software
isn't frozen out.
and also publish Experiemental RFCs that head in the
direction of Unified SPF.
I don't have any real problems with Unified-SPF as long as it is
compatible with SPF-classic and it doesn't have the above mentioned
problems with the PRA.
