I would like to thank all those people who have been active on this list
for the past year (not the noisy ones, the bright ones - you know who
you are.)
I have been a rather quiet lurker and gave only a few contributions to
the list, however I used all your energy help and motivation to study
SPF, convince management that it's a good idea and implement it in our
anti-spam product lines.
It thanks to you that the commercial companies / ISPs etc... are
adopting SPF, and SPF is a Good Thing for the future of email. Your
individual work might get forgotten (just like mine will be), but on the
whole we have all contributed towards the same thing and I think that it
was a success.
I will be leaving my day job next week to seek new opportunities so I
will not be subscribed to this list anymore. I do not think I will miss
you but I know that I will remember you for a long time to come. SPF,
MARID, IETF, Microsoft and you guys thought me a hell of a lot of new
things and I am really grateful to that.
I hope that my work on SPF will be beneficial for the whole of the
'community'.
Bye Bye!
