I'm mostly a lurker here, but I feel compelled to welcome rr.com to SPF!
I'm really happy to hear that rr.com is starting to publish records. I
knew AOL and many other large ISPs are heading this way in some form.
Thanks for jumping on board as we obviously need a majority to move into
a next realm, where we can really start to get tough. (isn't it amazing
how many get their rev dns fixed when suddenly several of the big ISPs
start bouncing them?)
I could be wrong, but I see a future where we will have a pure out and
out reject if you don't have a SPF record, just like many are rejecting
domains that don't exist. Personally, I can't wait for that day to come.
From there, we can then have 'known' blacklists, and not have to worry
so much about a good domain accidentally landing on it due to forged
addressing schemes.
So, welcome aboard and I'm looking forward to a better world of email.
Best,
John Hinton
