I concurr.  If 97% (or whatever the exact number was shown to be by the
initial DNS load research) of all queries are under 10 lookups, then why
is it such a big deal to allow the other 3% to be higher?  And yes,
there is some benefit to optimizing SPF records, but this is going too
far.
