Perhaps it might be a good idea to discuss the SPF records you are
planning to include in the document first, so you don't have to do too
many corrections. That way, maybe some of the discussions (if any) will
even generate (part of) the explanations that should be included in the BCP.
The actual content of the example is inconsequential to how I was
thinking the document should be arranged.
I hope I will not be the one sole person tasked with writing the SPF
records, because I pretty sure I suck at it compared to other people.
This is why other people's input is necessary.
As for making corrections, I have no problem making corrections before
any documents have wider distribution, as long as the corrections are
more correct than what they are correcting (to avoid diminishing
returns)
I'm still going over spfhelp.com to boil it down to a list of common
configurations. Hopefully, I'll have something early next week to start
with. But don't let this stop anyone else from offering more input!
