I've finished at last trying to contact everyone with broken SPF records.
(Trying SOA and details from Whois)
A few people where quite nasty (about 5) saying to F-OFF, but I'll have to wait
and await for more of the abuse after people read the emails :-)
Some people don't like being contacted becuase something they/someone they
trusted to look after their domain name has caused something which will affect
their ability to email others.
But mostly positive feedback from the emails. A few people have removed their
SPF records completely (not waiting to fix them).
The biggest problem is people use "validators" to check their SPF records and
spf.pobox.com "wizard" that people use doesn't validate things very well at
all, and all the others (http://spam.co.nz/spf/) have various degrees of
getting it right.
Thanks
Craig
