I did not intend to run for the next council election, but it is clear
that I lack the motivation to even push through a new election.

That could pose a problem for the rest of us as we try to reach quorum at
this council's last meeting(s) over the next few weeks. We may have to
ignore our quorum rule in order to make effective decisions.
