Thanks. "New" (since March) stuff in my collection contains
   draft-irtf-asrg-iar-howe-siq-03.txt
   draft-santos-dkim-strip-00
   draft-delany-domainkeys-base-06.txt
and about six UTF-8 SMTP drafts (formerly known as IMA, now
the EAI WG).

On the SMTP list John said (in April) that he'll remove the
"trailing dot" in the next 2821bis draft again, sticking to
the 2821 syntax:

On the DNS lists Phil proposes a new "super wildcard" **, I
didn't check the details. The DNSBL draft is still somewhere
in the pipeline. DKIM threats is approved. What else did I
miss ? Bye, Frank

A new accreditation service was announced yesterday. It appears to be
closely tied to DKIM. DKIM and DomainKeys have a feature that SPF
doesn't that is very important to some email senders: You can choose
on a email by email basis, whether to sign an email or not. So, you can
run all your outgoing email through a spam filter, and only sign those
that are very clean. This accreditation system extends this ability
to allow, on a email by email basis, whether accreditation should be
applied. So, an email sender can easily choose to only use
accreditation when sending email to receivers known not to complain to
the accreditation service about any problems.

Also, I stubled upon this older article that talks about Meng's Karma
project and the Email Authentication Summit last April:

Bad karma surrounds e-mail authentication plans

Also, ironport has announce they are going to start doing BATV. See:
