Hi there
Thanks a lot for replying. I don't want to use the MS version if I do not
have to - what do I have to do in order to change/upgrade this to XSLT 1.0
namespace ? Please forgive me in advance for my seemingly crazy questions -
as said I'm just learning and this is not my own code but that of a previous
employee.
TIA
Geoff

This is not XSLT 1.0 namespace - if you want support for Microsoft's

An expression like that it slow, especially when you select it twice, so
you should consider rewriting your stylesheet to not use //.
Was this what you wanted from the conditional section?
<A href="{URL}">
<xsl:attribute name="target">
<xsl:choose>
<when test="starts-with(URL, 'http://')">_top</xsl:when>
<xsl:otherwise>ESRCanvas</xsl:otherwise>

<xsl:value-of select="TITLE" />
