RE: optional children

2002-10-21 07:03:05

Unless I'm missing something, this solution fails to satisfy
the question.

yeah I missed this as well, although it only needed slight modification
to work:

a[b and count(b|c|d) = count(*)]

in the end though Ive gone with Jeni's method as it better suits the
data I have, but Oleg's answer was the one (I thought) I was looking
for.

Hi,

Unless I'm missing something, this solution fails to satisfy
the question.

Surely this would also match

<a>
  <c/>
</a>

Or similar? i.e. it doesn't enforce the requirement that there
must be a <b> element?

Dan.

What about
<xsl:template match="a[count(b|c|d) = count(*)]">
      <foo/>
</xsl:template>
