Any change with XSLT to get rid of these %20's in the
text parts?
you could use a replace recursive template (there's one in the faq for
this list) to change "%20" to " " but XSLT's not particularly optimised
for string handling.
It's arguably a bug in the URI handler in the
script that generates the xml, as whatever unpacks the URI data is
supposed to have decoded the URI % encoding.
Since you said you were using a shell script, you may as well just use
sed -e "s/%20/ /g"
on the file before calling XSLT.
