  In addition you might
  want to use this:

  & # 1 6 9 ; (without the spaces)

  rather than this:

  &

  in your XSLT


Using an entity or numeric character reference in a stylesheet will
never make any difference to the output if they refer to the same
character, but character 169 is a copyright sign not an ampersand.
