No, it just won't render the & at all, or any page with & encoded in it

Subject: RE: [xsl] ampersand fun
FAQ,
This is probably an old question but, when trying to encoide
an ampersand in a URL even when I write is as:
<xsl:text>&</xsl:text>
the page doesn't render. Any ideas?
Which page? On a browser? If you mean that you get & instead of & in e.g.
href attribute in HTML link element, that's what you're supposed to get.
