Hi Bodo,
If there's a line break in your stylesheet after 'Club', it's part of the
text node inside <xsl:text>, and therefore appears in the output.
Just remove the line break from the text in the stylesheet.
It's true that some processors may add line breaks in places, when
serializing, if indent="yes"; but if a line break is already there it'll
appear in the output regardless.
Check your stylesheet to make sure no line break snuck in there.
Cheers,
Wendell

Hi,
I am processing with Xalan 2.5.1
my stylesheet contains following:
<xsl:output doctype-system="content.dtd" method="xml" indent="no"/>
....
<xsl:template match="WEB-ADRESSE">
<xsl:text>path="Redaktion|Content|data|Daten|Club
Suche|Laender|Zusatzinfos|</xsl:text>
</xsl:template>
.....
and this is what I get:
path="Redaktion|Content|data|Daten|Club
Suche|Laender|Zusatzinfos|
with a New Line after Club.
How can I prevent the break? I've read some threads, where indent="no" was
recommended, but I see no change...
Thanks in advance,
Bodo von Malottki
