If you have Mozilla running you can download the XPath Visualizer for
Mozilla at:
http://www.topxml.com/code/default.asp?p=3&id=v20021221025528
It doesn't require any Java.

i just downloaded logilab's XPathVisualizer and tossed the
.jar file into my classpath to test it, but the execution
failed, apparently looking for a non-existent xerces class.
before i start digging around in this, is anyone else using
this tool under linux? is it compatible with the latest versions
of xerces and xalan? and did i just do something silly?
i can be more detailed if necessary, but i first wanted to
verify if anyone else was using this successfully under linux.
thanks.
