Hi Kathy,
Without having seen much, I think that you - in your second expression - has
no enclosing quotes.
Something like:
/WorkFlow/Assembly/Station[(_at_)name=""" & strStation & """]/WI[1]/@doc
should do the trick (if the whole is enclosed by " and " - it does not say
in your examples).
Hope this helps
Sincerely
Ragulf Pickaxe
I know this is more of an xpath programming question, but I'm trying to use
a variable in place of a text string in an attribute value, but getting an
object error (asp.net).
This works: /WorkFlow/Assembly/Station[(_at_)name="Label"]/WI[1]/@doc
This doesn't: /WorkFlow/Assembly/Station[(_at_)name=" & strStation &
"]/WI[1]/@doc
I've tried several renditions...
If someone sees the obvious, I would appreciate hearing it.
Thanks again,
Kathy
