RE: RE: XSL-FO scaling embedded SVG

Thanks. It's always hard to know if a problem is a result of one's own
inadequacies or of those of the tool, especially when you are new to something.
I've looked at the link and the explanation is still a bit murky. Are they
saying that I will have to change the dimensions in the SVG file itself and
then not bother including the scaling attributes?

Subject: RE: [xsl] XSL-FO scaling embedded SVG

I'm just getting my feet wet with XSL-FO. I have created a
document using FOP that embeds an SVG file which I would like to
shrink a little. I have tried using the
'inline-progression-dimension' and 'block-progression-dimension'
attributes (see below). While the document is sucessfully created
with the SVG embedded, the scaling does not seem to be working.
Is this a FOP peculiarity, or am I missing something about
scaling that's causing this?
Thanks.

Charles,

This is indeed FOP-specific.

Check http://xml.apache.org/fop/graphics.html#svg-scaling for more
information and the solution.
