The above selects the node set of all child <space> elements ... not sure
that is what you want ... did you mean "$space"?
- taken into account, that the outcome of the template is multiple, since it
contains a for-each loop... which means it puts them all together in the
variable.
When working with result tree fragment variables, one must use <xsl:copy-of
select="$rtf-var"/> instead of <xsl:value-of .../> in order to copy the
structure of the variable to the result tree instead of the value of the
text found in the variable to the result tree.
