My main assumption is that most XSLT developers come from 
developer backgrounds...

That means depending on from which path a developer comes to 
XSLT, they may never have seen the "words" AND or OR in a 
program in their lives.


Surely most people coming from a developer background have used SQL at
some stage in their careers?
