What is "d-o-e on the xsl:value-of"?
disable-output-escaping attribute on xsl:value-of element, see
<http://www.w3.org/TR/xslt#value-of>.
Can you give ma an example of this? I never heard about that before.

No, you don't want to use that, not at this point. In your case, using d-o-e
would be messy hacking, and an XSLT processor doesn't have to implement this
particular feature so you might end up with a solution that doesn't work on
your engine of choise.
