Recursion *will* work, but this a really hard problem.
That is because a general URL is hard to parse in the best
of circumstances (that is, with regular expressions or some
other language that is good at that kind of text analysis).
Which would be (relatively) easier in 2.0? Anyone seen a regex for
http(s)? Or does that get incredibly messy with escaped characters?
