interrogating custom tags within an xml value

2004-07-06 13:53:25
I have the following xml:

<person>
<name>Joe Happy</name>
<activities>
<month>6</month>
<about>
I am interested in <custom1 pop=Y width=500 height=500
interest=3>swimming</custom>, <custom2 pop=N
club=4>garbage</custom>.</about>
<month>1</month>
<about>
I am interested in <custom1 pop=Y width=500 height=500
interest=1>football</custom>, <custom2 pop=N
club=2>garbage</custom>.</about>
</activities>
</person>

and the following xsl
<html>
<head>
<title><xsl:value-of select="name"/></title>
</head>
<H1><xsl:value-of select="name"/>
<H2>About</H2>
<xsl:for-each select="activities">
<xsl:sort select="month"/>

<!-- now i need to display each about content, but
within each about content, i need to 1) take custom1
and expand it into an href that opens a new browser
window with the correct dimensions and 2) do a lookup
in a table that will return content related to club=2,
after i get the content, it needs to be displayed
inline in the correct place and the text garbage must
be removed. -->

Is this something that can be done with xsl or will I
need to write a custom class that will parse through
the about content?
