RE: Calling templates based on node contents

2004-08-18 06:50:45
Hi David...

Unfortunatly I get the same result with your template as I did with mine.

yours:
<a class="defaultField_default" href="Default url text -- please
update">Default text -- please update</a>
<a class="defaultField_A" href="Default url text -- please update">Default text
-- please update</a>

mine:
<a class="defaultField_default" href="Default url text -- please
update">Default text -- please update</a>
<a class="defaultField_A" href="Default url text -- please update">Default text
-- please update</a>

ideally the output should look like:
<span class="defaultField_default">Default text -- please update</span>
<a class="defaultField_A" href="Default url text -- please update">Default text
-- please update</a>

Different structure based on the contentFieldStyle changing.

Will keep plugging at it though!

Cheers,
Ben

basically trying to find a way of doing this:

  <xsl:call-template name="concat(contentFieldElement, '_', contentFieldStyle)"
/>

why do you want to use named templates?

Does the outline that I posted not do more or less what you need?

that uses matching templates and just uses this
concat(contentFieldElement, '_', contentFieldStyle)"
string as needed within the template.

David
