I have some XML like so:
<enrties>
<entry number="20.35">
<entry number="50.95">
<entry number="20.02">
<entry number="1.00">
<entry number="5.22">
</enrties>
I am trying to process those numbers with a template.
If I try to do:
<xsl:for-each select = "//entry">
<xsl:value-of select="@number"/><br />
</xsl:for-each>
as you would expect, I get:
20.35
50.95
20.02
1.00
5.22
If however, I do:
<xsl:for-each select = "//entry">
<xsl:variable name="currentNumber" select="@number"/>
<xsl:value-of select="$currentNumber"/>
</xsl:for-each>
I get:
- - ./,),(-*,(
50.95
20.02
1.00
5.22
It seems to completely mess up the first entry every time!
Anyone ever had this before???
thanks
