Thanks, but I find the spec completely unreadable on that
topic. Can I
avoid that by using variables, like this:
<xsl:variable name="specific-status"
select="specific_status"/>
<xsl:variable name="title-lang"
select="title_list/title[(_at_)type='TITLE'][1][(_at_)lang]"/>
...
[(_at_)status=$specific-status and @lang=$title-lang]
