from the following xml database i am trying to output elements in reverse
order :
well actually you seem to want to keep the element nodes in the same order
but swap round thir children
so something like
<xsl:template match="car">
<xsl:copy>
<xsl:for-each select="*">
<xsl:variable name="x" select="position()"/>
<xsl:copy>
<xsl:copy-of select="../*[last()+1-$x]/*"/>
</xsl:copy>
</xsl:for-each>
</xsl:copy>
</xsl:template>
