yes:-)
exclude-result-prefixes excludes namespaces that in scope in the
stylehseet but not used in any elements in the result. Your result
appears to have elements with names like fn:member so there there has to
be a namespace declaration for fn in the result or the result would not
conform to the xml namespace recommendation.
