XSL does not permit '<xsl:attribute name="align"
select="@align"/>'
More precisely, XSLT 1.0 does not permit it, but XSLT 2.0 does.
An XSLT 1.0 processor, if it sees version="2.0", is obliged to ignore the
select attribute rather than reporting an error.
