you are correct. Can you please tell me what's the special char that XSLT 
cannot handle and how to replace them with null value?

Michael,
the problem was in my original csv file that was containing A,"",C.
So, it seems that "" maybe can create problems to XSLT.

Any input can create problems for your stylesheet if you don't write correct
code to handle it. The problem's in your code (which you seem unwilling to
show us), not in XSLT.
