actually how about an xslt 1.0 processor written in xslt 2.0
with support for exslt extension functions?
I would have thought the really useful thing would be an XSLT 2.0 processor
written in XSLT 1.0 - perhaps you could even run it in the browser??
But writing a regular expression matcher in XSLT 1.0 is a challenge I would
prefer to leave to others!
