the browser with JavaScript...

If you can, then why do you want to use XSL? Surely the future of JS in
the browser is much more bright than XSL's.

Does W3C, and you, experts readers of this list, view XSL *MOSTLY* as a 
server-side technology?


You seem to be mostly trolling, but no, I use both quite nicely and
easily. When used in the browser you only do yourself a favor by
controlling it with JavaScript: 

- target specific page regions
- caching
- parameters

That is nice, but you still need another language to feed in the params 
don't you ?
