the apply-templates, if executed will always be an error as the current
item inside the for-each is an iteger.
Actually the test will always test false so apply-templates would never be
activated, but a system is allowed to generate static errors even on
branches that may not be executed.
Why would you want to have a test of . instance of node() in a context
where it can be statically determined that . is not a node?
