Actually, the one that's just come out is the 4th edition - and
it's now nearly 1400 pages.
I don't think you speak both about the same book ;-)
Yes they were, the original posted specifically mentioned the 3rd
edition books (the two of them), and linked to the 3rd edition in his
third reference to amazon. The newer edition is
