Ok, I understand. It just needs the .NET environment available to it?
And I can create and invoke it on my regular asp pages?

In reading on the Saxonica site it seems I *HAVE* to use either JAVA
or .NET is this true?
Yes.
I want to install it as a standalone processor on a windows
2000/2003 server and access the saxon processor from my standards
based css/javascript/asp/xml/xsl pages.
Is this possible?
Yes. By installing Java or .NET.
