If this 'embedded' xml is in a CDATA section!? Is it possible!?
well then your input is XML so anything is possible again.
the content of the element is then just a string containing XML
markup. The normal way to get from such a string to an XML tree for
processing is to parse it. many processors offer an xml parser as an
extension function, either directly eg saxon:parse() or indirectly, eg
in msxml you can escape to javascript and then from there call the msxml
parser on the string and return the nodes as a result.
But why not, instead of usin a CDATA section, just place the XML directly
as a child of teh element (which is the model that SOAP envelope was
designed to support) all you need to do is not put in the <?xml so that
the combination is XML.
