w:comment[w:id=$commentID
I using, w:comment[(_at_)w:id=$commentID only.
And calling comments.xml only.

Subject: Re: [xsl] Transform with Multiple Files
w:comment[w:id=$commentID
that is looking for an element named w:id not an attribute @w:id
by the way it is much more efficient to do
<xsl:variable name="commentID"
select="w:commentReference/@w:id"/>
than
<xsl:variable name="commentID"><xsl:value-of
select="w:commentReference/@w:id"/></xsl:variable>
Comment.xml placed on xslt path.
If it is really called Comment.xml then "document('comments.xml') won't
work.
