No thanks.  Here is an example of a source of text from which I would copy from 
www.lds.org:

Some text (D&C 110:3-4). Sometext (D&C 76:22-24).

The reason is to copy and past text with ampersands into my xml file without 
having to convert one ampersand form into another.



Copying and pasting into an XML document is likely to lead to tears.
Partly for this reason, and partly because it's very likely the text you
paste in will be in the wrong character encoding. It might work OK if
you do the paste operation under the control of an XML editor which can
apply the necessary conversion. So, find a more robust way of
creating/editing your XML documents.
