Re: [xsl] [Summary] Avenues for content to enter and exit an XSLT transform?

C. Dimitre, in XSLT 1.0 can global <xsl:param> elements contain "Any
documents or document-fragments"?
I thought they can only contain text?

A global <xsl:param> whose value is provided externally can contain
any type of node or an atomic value. Maybe you got the impression that
the type of value can only be string, from lookimg at how a
command-line invocation of a given XSLT processor can is specified?
Besides command-line invocation there is invocation from a program
(C#, VB, Java, ..., etc.) and these can usually specify all possible
types of nodes or node-sets as the value of an externally provided
parameter.
