Dear List,
i had some trouble with sendmail........after trying to rebuild
the mailertable.db i got an input/output error in the log from
senmdail....I'm using SuSE 8.0 with Sendmail .812.X............
All those emails were wrote into one file named "dead.letter"............the
relaying is now functioning without any problems.........but those emails
which were wrote into this file are lost.........sendmail didn't sent them
back to the sender and so the couldn't be sent again from the remote
mta...........
Someone told me that "formail" is the tool to send the emails again in
correct form,
But I don't know this tool - can anybody help me with this?
I tried:
Formail -s sendmail dead.letter but nothing happend........which parameter
do I have to use?
