problem parsing multidrop config

I've gone through the man pages and the faq, and it seems this shouldwork (in fact, it's almost identical to the example in the man page).(fetchmail release 5.6.8+RPA+NTLM+SDPS+SSL+INET6+NLS)

However, fetchmail always reports "fetchmail:[root(_at_)linux /root]#/root/.fetchmailrc:13: parse error at =" with this in .fetchmailrc


I have also tried it with spaces on either side of the "=".

(line 13 in .fetchmailrc is the first line below with an "=")

What's wrong? TIA

poll mail.mydomain.net localdomains mydomain.net
       with proto POP3  timeout 30 no dns:
       user 'msauve' with password 'foo'
       to nsauve  support=msauve service=msauve
          sales=msauve msauve here
