[fetchmail]Fetchmail problem ?

Hi,

Fetchmail used to work fine for me when I used to fetch email over an
Ethernet interface, but I'm facing problems when I try and retrieve it over
a modem. Fetchmail just seems to sit there doing nothing.

I am attaching a transcript of what happened before I terminated the
fetchmail session.

My system info is:
Os: RedHat Linux 6.2 (i386)
Linux Kernel: 2.2.14-12
GCC version: egcs-2.91.66 (egcs-1.2.2 release)
Fetchmail version: 5.3.1+IMAP-GSS

I can't recollect where I downloaded the fetchmail distribution from;
sorry.
