Jorge Godoy <godoy(_at_)conectiva(_dot_)com>:
As you can see, the message was kept on my POP server. Shouldn't this
message have been removed? All the other messages that pass through
checkings in my MTA are removed successfully.
My doubt is: is this correct? Since the message was already rejected,
shouldn't it be removed from the server? What if I had no other
interface (e.g. webmail) to remove those messages from there and had
no means to change the customizations on the MTA? Is there any way to
make fetchmail delete this message? (I know I could telnet there and
do it by hand, but in this case it gets a little more troubly since
it's a SSL connection...)
This was a ug. It has been fixed in 5.8.15.

The same applies for other kinds of long-lasting low-level pain. [...]
The body's response to being jabbed, pierced, and cut is to produce
endorphins. [...] So here's my programme for breaking that cycle of
dependency on Windows: get left arm tattooed with dragon motif, buy a
crate of Jamaican Hot! Pepper Sauce, get nipples pierced. With any
luck that will produce enough endorphins to make Windows completely
redundant, and I can then upgrade to Linux and get on with things.
