There is now a fresh da.po for fetchmail 5.9.7 at

Hopefully it will be included in the next release.
There is a few problems with the new strings in 5.9.7:
fetchmail.c, line 491 and 493: The string "could not open %s to
append logs to \n" seems incomplete. Append logs to what?
env.c, line 72: There is an unescaped line break inside a string.
This is bad C syntax and the string is not found correctly for
translating.
